Best Greek food we’ve had.
Believe the hype. We came to this restaurant after finding it on Yelp. We were only in Surrey for one night and so glad we pushed open the doors of the strip mall facade to reveal this gem. Best Greek food we’ve had. Excellent all the way from the complimentary soup to the in-house made baklava. My wife and I had moussaka, chicken/prawn souvlaki, and calamari. We left absolutely stuffed. The food was fresh, delicious, and piping hot. Also compliments to the staff, especially our server Kayla who was very attentive, kind, and personable. This would be one of our regular spots without a doubt if we lived here.

We made a reservation for 8 people and when we showed up our table wasn’t ready. I don’t recall how long the wait was but the staff entertained us with shots of ouzo and many laughs while we waited. We finally got to our table and they brought us trays of appetizers on the house because we had to wait so long for our table. Our waitress was amazing as she answered every question about the menu we had and made suggestions based upon our preferences. Our family thoroughly enjoyed themselves which was important as we had just come from a funeral. When it came time to get our bill she had no qualms about splitting the bill up between us as I have experienced in the past. We received our bills and I was pleasantly surprised at the bill as their prices are comparable to the food. Overall it was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a very long time.

What a pleasant surprise. Possibly the best Greek food I’ve had here in the Lower Mainland. The restaurant was very busy with a number of large groups but the level of service, the attentiveness from the host to the server to the bus persons were not affected. They were all very professional, relaxed, and gave top-notch service. The food came out quickly but paced appropriately and was absolutely delicious. Everyone in our party remarked about the taste and freshness and the portion sizes were more than generous. The entire menu was moderately priced and more interesting than most greek restaurants. The only negative comment would be the volume of the music being played but after satiating ourselves on the food, wine, and the complimentary ouzos – who cares. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Everyone had something different so a good cross-section of the menu. The calamari appetizer was delicious…so says, my husband! Have to try to duplicate the salad dressing that comes on the greek salad. Yummm!!!

We go here on special occasions and have been doing so for years. Simply the best food, and service of any restaurant in Chilliwack. Huge portions that never leave you feeling that you haven’t received your money’s worth. The manager is one of the nicest guys in the business. He even remembers who you are, and says high to you on the street. It’s extremely rare to find that kind of customer service these days. The Greek Islands are definitely one in a million!

Excellent Greek food…definitely worth every bite. Their Greek roasted potatoes are to die for…and their Greek salad is amaaaa-zing. They serve it with a creamy Greek dressing, which I would lick right off the plate if I weren’t in public. I think they should sell the dressing to-go as some other restaurants do!
There are two locations in Abbotsford and one in Chilliwack, all family-owned. I haven’t tried the Chilliwack location, but the two Abby ones are pretty much interchangeable. Service has always been excellent in my experience, the owner quite often asks us about our meal.
